Commission Process
Commissioning Automotive Art
Each commission whether digital or hand-painted begins with a conversation and progresses through a structured creative process within the studio.

1 - The Conversation
Collectors typically reach out through email, phone, an event, or the commission inquiry form here on the website.
During this initial discussion we explore:
• The year, make, and model of the vehicle
• Photographs of the car (if available)
• The location where the artwork will be displayed
• The Scope of the project, Digital vs. Hand-painted
• Preferred road sign or aluminum panel format
• Ideas for the background or environment
Collectors often incorporate meaningful elements such as favorite roads, architectural settings, personal garages, or locations tied to the vehicle’s story.
For Legacy Series commissions, on-site visits can also be arranged to photograph the vehicle and measure the installation space.
2 - Concept Development
Once the concept direction is established, black-and-white line sketches are created to illustrate the composition.
These sketches allow collectors to review the layout and request adjustments before the painting process begins.
After the concept is approved, the artwork enters production within the studio schedule.
3 - Production/Studio Creation
Digital Art is colored and printed if needed. Hand-painted artwork is created using layered automotive paint techniques including multi-stage urethanes, metallic finishes, and deep-tint candies.
Throughout the process collectors receive weekly studio progress updates, often including photographs and videos documenting the development of the piece.
4 - Completion & Delivery
Once complete, the artwork is prepared for installation or shipment.
Available services include:
• Custom framing
• Installation guidance
• Worldwide shipping
Many collectors display their commissioned works within garages, offices, or collection spaces as a permanent tribute to the vehicles they represent.
Commission Availability
Because each work is created individually, the studio accepts a limited number of commissions throughout the year.
Most projects begin with a conversation about the vehicle and where the finished piece will live.
