Nissan Skyline
Yume — The Dream That Drives Us
The Story
Some cars become legends on the racetrack. Others become legends in the dreams of those who hope to own them someday.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 became both. Born from Japan's relentless pursuit of performance, its legendary RB26 engine, advanced all-wheel-drive system, and unmistakable styling made it a favorite among enthusiasts. But its influence extended far beyond the streets of Japan. Through automotive culture, video games, and the silver screen, the R34 became a dream car for an entire generation.
Yume — The Dream That Drives Us celebrates that connection. Her brilliant blue finish, aggressive stance, and iconic GT-R badge represent more than engineering excellence. They represent the posters on bedroom walls, the cars we raced in video games, and the dreams that followed us into adulthood.
I've always believed that our passion for cars begins long before we ever turn a key. Sometimes it starts with a toy car, a photograph, or a machine that captures our imagination. Those early connections stay with us, influencing the cars we admire and the experiences we pursue.
Yume is a tribute to those dreams and the enthusiasts who never stopped chasing them.
Because sometimes the cars we dream about become the stories we spend a lifetime trying to live.

An icon of Japanese performance. A legend of automotive culture. A dream that spans generations.
Yume — The Dream That Drives Us celebrates the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, one of Japan's most recognizable and coveted performance cars. Renowned for its twin-turbocharged RB26 engine, advanced all-wheel-drive technology, and unmistakable design, the R34 became a symbol of engineering excellence and a dream machine for enthusiasts around the world.
The dramatic head-on composition captures Yume's commanding presence, from her signature quad headlights and unmistakable GT-R emblem to the aggressive front fascia and exposed intercooler. Rich blue washes sweep across the bodywork and background, while subtle red accents, spontaneous splatters, and flowing paint drips bring energy and movement to the composition.
Created using SIN Customs' signature Urethane Wash technique, this artwork combines professional automotive urethane paints with the expressive qualities of traditional watercolor painting. Carefully defined linework contrasts with layered washes and organic textures, creating a balance between Japanese engineering precision and artistic freedom.
More than a portrait of a legendary Skyline, Yume celebrates the emotional connection between enthusiasts and the machines that inspire them. From childhood dreams to lifelong passions, she represents the cars that capture our imaginations and remind us why we fell in love with automotive culture.
A tribute to Japanese performance, automotive nostalgia, and the dreams that continue to drive us.
